We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Umrah packages and services booked with Trip Tasia Umrah. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Many parts of an Umrah package are paid to third parties, such as the Saudi government, airlines and hotels, as soon as your booking is processed. Their rules decide how much can be refunded, so refunds depend on what we can recover from them.
All cancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the booking:
Your cancellation takes effect on the day we receive it. We will confirm it in writing and tell you the amount to be refunded.
The following are usually non-refundable once processed:
If you cancel, the amount refunded depends on how close to departure you cancel:
When you cancel | What is refunded |
|---|---|
Before the visa is filed and before tickets are issued | The amount paid, minus our service fee |
After the visa is filed or tickets are issued | The amount paid, minus non-refundable items and any charges from airlines, hotels and transport providers |
Close to departure, after hotel and transport bookings become non-refundable | Only the amounts we recover from suppliers, if any |
No-show on the day of departure | No refund |
The exact amount refunded will be confirmed to you in writing when you cancel.
If the Saudi authorities refuse your visa, we will refund the amount paid minus the visa fee, insurance, our service fee and any charges we cannot recover from airlines, hotels or transport providers. If the refusal was caused by incorrect or incomplete information you gave us, the normal cancellation charges apply.
If we have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control, we will offer you a full refund of the amount you paid us, or an alternative package of the same or higher standard if you prefer.
If you do not pay the balance on time, we may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges above.
Sometimes travel is stopped by events beyond anyone’s control, such as a suspension of Umrah visas by Saudi Arabia, changes in government travel rules, airline failures, war, epidemics or natural disasters. In these cases, we will:
We will keep you informed and share the supplier’s decision with you.
If you want to change your travel dates, hotels or names rather than cancel, contact us as early as possible. Changes depend on availability and supplier rules. Any airline change fees, fare differences, hotel rate differences or new visa fees will be charged to you.
No refund is given for any part of a package that you choose not to use, such as hotel nights, meals, transport or Ziyarat, or if you return home early for personal reasons. We will still help you change flights if you need to return early, at the airline’s charges.
If you are unhappy with a refund decision, contact us at support@triptasiatravels.com with your booking details, and we will review it. You may also raise a complaint with the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
